Our Statement of Faith
WE
BELIEVE in God the Father,
who is the creator and possessor of heaven and earth. We
believe in God the Son, who is the Savior of mankind and
the only way to the Father. We believe in God the Holy Spirit,
who is the active agent at work in the earth today. Genesis
1:1; John 14:6, 25,26
WE
BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative,
infallible and eternal Word of God, and that it is the standard
for our lives. II Timothy 3:16
WE
BELIEVE that for the salvation of the lost and sinful
man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
Romans 3:21-30; Galations 4:4-7
WE
BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of all believers through
Jesus Christ, who is the head of His body, "the Church."
Ephesians 4:16
WE
BELIEVE the redemptive work of Christ on the cross
provides healing for the body, mind and spirit. Isaiah 53:5;
I Peter 2:24; James 5:14-16
WE
BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit
who indwells and operates in all believers in the power
of the gifts of the Spirit, manifesting them as He wills.
John 14:16; Acts 1:5-8; I Corinthians 12:14; Galations 5:22
WE
BELIEVE that the tithe is holy unto the Lord, and we
believe in the liberal giving of offerings for the futherance
of the Gospel. Malachi 3:8-10; II Corinthians 8:6,7
WE
BELIEVE that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation
in the Church today as the Spirit wills. I Corinthians 12:1-11
WE
BELIEVE that the full consummation of the Baptism of
believers in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by the initial
physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit
gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual
power in public testimony and service. Acts 2:4; 10:44-46;
19:2,6; 1:8; 2:42-43; Matthew 3:11
WE

Christ will one day rise and those who remain will be caught
up to meet Jesus. I Corinthians 15:41, I Thessalonians 4:13-17
